Today’s event will be #edchatie at 8.30pm on Twitter.
For those of you unfamiliar with Twitter and Twitter chats, #edchatie happens every Monday evening between 8.30 and 9.30pm when many enthusiastic teachers from all over Ireland come together for an hour to discuss issues relating to education. (This should be 3.30pm EST for our #gtchat friends)
We are very grateful to the host, Fred Boss of the National Centre for Technology in Education (NCTE), for devoting tonight’s chat to the topic “Meeting the Needs of Gifted Children Inside and Outside the Classroom”. This is a wonderful opportunity to discuss how teachers feel about having gifted children in their classrooms and how they might be better supported in meeting their needs. We invite everyone with an interest to join in. With luck, we may even have some participants from abroad to add to the mix.
If you would like to watch or join in but need a little help, check out this guide. Don’t forget to add the hashtag #edchatie to your tweets if you want them to show up in the conversation. The easiest way to ensure that you don’t get left out, is to use tweetchat which will automatically add the tag for you.
So, set yourself a reminder and join us this evening. For those who can’t make it, we will post a transcript of the chat here afterwards.
